Jannik Sinner, known for his precision on the court and poise off it, returns to his skiing roots in the new Gucci Altitude collection—a bold venture into winter sportswear that redefines performance gear with unmistakable elegance.

It’s a visual narrative that pays homage to his childhood as a competitive skier, while positioning him as the face of a new era in luxury athletic wear.

A Seamless Blend of Heritage and Innovation

The Gucci Altitude collection marks the brand’s first foray into winter sportswear, launching ahead of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in 2026.

Designed in collaboration with Head, a leader in high-performance ski equipment, the collection includes snow jackets, helmets, and skis—all infused with Gucci’s signature aesthetic.

Sinner, who has been a global ambassador for the Florentine fashion house since 2022, embodies the campaign’s ethos: a balance of athletic excellence and refined taste. “It was a very special and unique shoot in the heart of the mountains,” he shared. “Gucci comes up with amazing ideas every time, but in this case, it was something really magical.”

From Slopes to Spotlight

Born in South Tyrol, Sinner grew up surrounded by the Dolomites, where his parents worked at a ski resort. Before rising to world No. 1 in tennis, he was a decorated junior skier, winning national titles in Giant Slalom. His return to the slopes for Gucci is more than symbolic—it’s a full-circle moment that bridges past and present.

The campaign’s visuals are cinematic yet intimate, capturing Sinner’s fluidity on snow and the tactile richness of the garments. The snow jacket, emblazoned with Gucci’s monogram, is both a technical marvel and a fashion statement. The helmet and ski set, co-designed with Head, reflect a commitment to craftsmanship and performance.

Gucci’s Expanding Universe

With Gucci Altitude, the brand continues its evolution beyond traditional fashion. Following the success of its tennis-inspired collections and collaborations with athletes like Sinner, this winter line signals a broader ambition: to dominate the intersection of sport and style.

The campaign also reinforces Gucci’s ability to tell stories through its ambassadors. Sinner’s journey—from ski prodigy to tennis champion—mirrors the brand’s own trajectory: rooted in heritage, propelled by innovation.

The Gucci Altitude campaign starring Jannik Sinner is a masterclass in storytelling, design, and cultural resonance. By merging high fashion with high performance, Gucci not only celebrates an athlete’s personal history but also redefines what winter sportswear can be. It’s a bold step into the future—one that’s as stylish as it is strategic.
