In the 1930s, Ermenegildo Zegna planted the first tree in Trivero, Northern Italy.

 

That gesture ignited a movement: a 100 km² sanctuary in the Alps now known as Oasi Zegna.

In Aspen, Oasi Zegna’s mission goes beyond planting trees. With local partners like ACES (Aspen Center for Environmental Studies), Zegna promotes eco-education and fire prevention. 

 

Their commitment to the 2018 Lake Christine fire recovery includes replanting 160,000 native trees.
