Flower Trunks 2025 is not just luggage. It’s a daring conversation between Japanese botanical sculptor Azuma Makoto and the storied French maison Louis Vuitton. The project freezes thousands of fresh blooms inside the Courrier Lozine 110 trunk, rewriting what “luxury collectible” means today.

Makoto’s practice celebrates beauty that flashes, fades, and—in this case—gets immortalised in acrylic. By placing living colour inside a travel icon, he invites us to chase the poetry of impermanence while owning a slice of eternity.

How Did Flower Trunks 2025 Bloom Into Luxury Icon?

  • Concept born on the runway. Pharrell Williams tapped Makoto for Louis Vuitton Men FW 2025, asking him to “speak flower” through trunks.

  • Three limited masterpieces.

    • Layers of Life – 2,500 flowers – €400k

    • Whisper of Spring – 500 flowers – €300k

    • Sakura Grid – 880 flowers – €500k

  • Acrylic stasis. French maker DACRYL encapsulates each bouquet, sealing colour, scent, and story for good.

  • One-of-a-kind cadence. Seasonal stems guarantee no two trunks share the same chromatic score.

Why Does the Courrier Lozine 110 Matter to Collectors?

  • Heritage blueprint. Since 1858 Louis Vuitton trunks promised stackability and security; the Lozine 110 measures 110 × 48 × 55 cm, lined with cotton quilting and brass hardware.

  • Canvas as canvas. Monogram panels frame Makoto’s blooms, letting history meet horticulture without visual clash.

  • Static voyage. A trunk built for travel now safeguards a frozen journey of petals—luxury’s answer to time travel.

What Makes Azuma Makoto × Louis Vuitton a Future Classic?

  • Philosophy over decoration. Past tie-ups—Sprouse’s graffiti, Murakami’s Manga pop, Kusama’s infinity dots—repainted surfaces. Makoto rewrites purpose, planting ideas of life and death inside the product.

  • Proven artistic pedigree. From launching bonsai into space (“Exobiotanica”) to Dior fragrance sculptures, Makoto pushes flora into unexpected realms.

  • Market magnetism. Scarcity, high price, and cross-cultural storytelling position the trunks as blue-chip collectibles. Expect secondary-market buzz to echo past Kusama pieces.

Flower Trunks 2025 captures a breath of spring and locks it into Louis Vuitton’s most emblematic chest. The result is part reliquary, part runway trophy—a statement that luxury’s future lies in meaningful, art-driven stories. Watch this limited bloom become an evergreen legend.
