The RMB01, is not just a motorcycle—it’s a mechanical sculpture that rides between Richard Mille and Brough Superior.

Richard Mille’s RMB01 doesn’t merely stand out—it roars into a new category of high-end machines.

The analog speedometer and gear-like wheels echo the signature complications of a tourbillon. It’s a design that turns timekeeping into speed, and mechanics into elegance.

The concept behind RMB01 was simple yet ambitious: create a motorcycle that feels like an extension of Richard Mille’s vision.

The Legacy of Brough Superior

Teaming up with Brough Superior was no coincidence. Known as the “Rolls-Royce of motorcycles”, the brand has long been a symbol of craftsmanship and power.

Since the early 20th century, it has attracted iconic enthusiasts like Lawrence of Arabia.

Under the guidance of Thierry Henriette, Brough Superior continues to break boundaries while honoring its heritage.

The Heart: Engineered Like a Jewel

At the core of the RMB01 lies a meticulously sculpted 997 cc V-twin engine. Crafted from aluminum blocks via CNC machining, only 23 kg of finished parts remain from 160 kg of raw material.

This engine doesn’t just power the motorcycle—it structurally supports it, acting as part of the chassis to enhance performance.

It features a six-speed cassette-style gearbox and a hydraulic multi-disc clutch with anti-slip technology, ensuring smoother transitions at high speeds.

Signature Suspension for Maximum Control

The front suspension uses the Fior-type fork, a hallmark of Brough Superior engineering. It provides excellent control during aggressive cornering.

Combined with the lightweight frame, the RMB01 delivers a sensation of flying just above the asphalt.

An Homage to Vintage Racing

The design pays tribute to early 20th-century board trackers—motorcycles that once thundered across wooden racing tracks.

The elongated fuel tank, minimalist seat, and exposed engine harken back to those early racing machines.

But this isn’t retro for the sake of nostalgia. The RMB01 features forged carbon aerodynamic accents and an aluminum-carbon exoskeleton.

Three Versions, One Philosophy

Only 150 units of the RMB01 will ever be made, all hand-assembled in France. Each model offers a distinct identity, echoing the meticulous finishes found in a luxury watch:

  • Pearl of Speed: Matte mother-of-pearl finish with red details, embodying aggressive elegance.

  • Selene: Dark gray with orange accents, blending technicality and grace.

  • Nocturnal Sapphire: Deep sapphire blue, with sculpted carbon that appears to shift even while still.

Made for the Track, Coveted by Collectors

Richard Mille and Brough Superior didn’t create a decorative object; they created a high-performance machine.

Lightweight, aerodynamic, and unapologetically bold, the RMB01 belongs in a collector’s gallery and on a racetrack. It’s a masterpiece in motion, where horology meets horsepower.
