Victory at the world’s most prestigious sporting events—the Super Bowl, the World Series, the PGA TOUR, and, since 2022, the Miami Grand Prix—is immortalized with a Tiffany & Co. trophy.

These exquisite silver masterpieces, handcrafted by Tiffany’s legendary artisans, are more than mere awards; they are enduring symbols of excellence, tradition, and luxury.

Since the inaugural 2022 Miami Grand Prix, Tiffany & Co. has been the official trophy maker for the Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, presenting bespoke sterling silver trophies to the top three finishers.

The 2025 winner’s trophy, claimed by McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, is a stunning testament to Tiffany’s heritage of fine silver craftsmanship. And in a seamless fusion of luxury and motorsport, this gleaming prize is encased in an equally prestigious Louis Vuitton trophy trunk, a collaboration born from LVMH’s 10-year partnership with Formula 1®.

The Art of Tiffany’s Trophy Craftsmanship

Each Tiffany & Co. trophy is a handmade marvel, brought to life by the Master Makers at the brand’s historic hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. These artisans employ 19th-century techniques—chisel engraving, spring hammering, repoussé, chasing, and planishing—to create trophies that are as much works of art as they are symbols of victory.

Every piece is stamped with T & CO MAKERS, a T-shaped planishing hammer hallmark, and a unique pattern number, a tradition dating back to Tiffany’s earliest days in silver craftsmanship.

The Miami Grand Prix trophy is no exception—its sleek, columnar design takes inspiration from the F1 stadium’s architecture, with a recessed top mirroring the venue’s open-roof structure.

A Legacy of Racing Trophies: From Vanderbilt to Formula 1

Tiffany’s connection to motorsport runs deep. In 1904, the House crafted the Vanderbilt Cup, commissioned by racing pioneer William K. Vanderbilt to celebrate American automotive innovation. The trophy, depicting Vanderbilt in his 90-horsepower Mercedes, was later reimagined for the Champ Car World Series.

As racing evolved, so did Tiffany’s trophies. The eight-foot Wheeler-Schebler Trophy, designed in 1909, became a coveted prize at the Indianapolis 500 before being retired in the 1930s.

Over a century later, Tiffany unveiled its first Formula 1® trophy  at the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, awarded to Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell, marking a new era in motorsport prestige.

The Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk: A Case Worthy of Victory

Just as Tiffany’s trophies for Miami GP are hand-forged works of art, the Louis Vuitton trophy trunk is a masterpiece of French savoir-faire. Crafted at Vuitton’s historic Asnières atelier —where the first automotive trunks were designed in 1897—this trunk is a modern heirloom.

The exterior features hand-painted front panels adorned with a bold “V”—symbolizing both “Victory” and “Vuitton”—in the iconic black-and-white Damier pattern, a nod to F1’s racing aesthetics.

The interior is lined in black leather and microfiber to protect the trophy, while brass corner guards, locks, and clasps pay homage to Louis Vuitton’s 19th-century travel trunks.
