Located in Brooklyn, New York, the luxurious property featured in Anora has captivated audiences not only for its elegance but also for its staggering value of $30 million.

Once owned by a businesswoman dubbed the “Paris Hilton of Russia”, the residence is now part of the real estate portfolio of financier Michael Davidoff. Interestingly, Davidoff was initially hesitant to rent out his home for the film, as it was a low-budget production.

However, something changed his mind. “At first, I didn’t want to do it because it was a low-budget movie,” he admitted in an interview. “But then I thought, ‘You know what? I really like the director and his team.’ That made me feel completely at ease with them.”

Originally built in 1965, the mansion spans four levels and covers an impressive 14,000 square feet. Among its highlights are five spacious bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, along with multiple living areas designed for ultimate comfort.

Waterfront luxury meets Hollywood fame

Inside, the home boasts a grand entrance, a sleek modern kitchen, an elegant dining room, multiple lounges, a private meditation room, a TV lounge, an elevator, and a garage with space for six vehicles.

The estate has seen multiple owners and price fluctuations over the years. Initially listed for $30 million in 2013, it was later sold in 2018 for just $10 million to a limited liability company. In 2021, New York-born financier Michael Davidoff, whose parents immigrated from Russia, acquired the property for $7.4 million.

Hidden gem in Anora

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the mansion was leased to a Manhattan family for an astonishing $30,000 per month. “It has always been a neighborhood landmark, tucked away on a quiet waterfront peninsula, complete with private docks, jet ski ramps, and a stunning in-ground pool,” said real estate expert Doreen Alfano. The house has also been home to notable figures, including Anna Anisimova, the “Russian Paris Hilton,” who spent part of her teenage years there.

Situated in the prestigious Mill Basin neighborhood, the mansion is surrounded by an affluent community known for its peaceful atmosphere. Many of its residents are high-profile professionals, particularly doctors, who enjoy the privilege of waterfront living.

Most homes in the area include private docks for boats, while locals also take advantage of nearby Lindower Park, which offers baseball fields, basketball courts, and an outdoor swimming pool. Entry-level homes in this exclusive enclave start at $1 million, with waterfront properties commanding significantly higher prices.
