Architectural Excellence and Natural Harmony

The villa’s L-shaped design, inspired by Brazilian modernism, features three levels that harmonized with the lush jungle and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean

The blue-tinted concrete structure blends into the pristine surroundings, evoking the essence of Brutalist architecture while drawing inspiration from Edward James’ surrealist garden.

Every element of the house reflects a philosophy of sustainability and design, from its solar-powered energy system to the locally sourced materials such as wood and stone.

At the heart of this architectural masterpiece is the rooftop terrace, offering a spectacular infinity pool, where guests could immerse themselves in panoramic views of the jungle and the ocean.

A Transformative Escape

Casa Bautista was born from the vision of Ezequiel Ayarza Sforza, an Argentinean-Mexican economist who, after an eye-opening experience in the Amazon rainforest, sought to create a space where luxury and sustainability could coexist.

His journey led him to question modern living standards and search for a way to integrate indigenous wisdom into a holistic, nature-driven lifestyle.

Designed to offer an immersive experience in nature, the villa provided more than just high-end accommodations.

Guests could indulge in private yoga sessions, spa treatments, and holistic therapies inspired by ancient Mayan traditions, making their stay a journey of rejuvenation and self-discovery.

A Commitment to Sustainability

It’s more than just a luxury villa; it’s a symbol of responsible tourism.

Powered by solar and wind energy, Casa Villa operates with minimal environmental impact, utilizing sustainable building materials and passive cooling techniques to regulate temperature naturally.

Adjustable wooden shutters optimized ventilation while reducing energy consumption.

Pueblo del Sol: Giving Back to the Community

The vision of Casa Bautista extends beyond luxury hospitality.

It’s  part of Pueblo del Sol, an ecotourism initiative founded in 2017 near Puerto Escondido, in the Oaxacan Sierra.

This project aims to foster a sustainable economy by working with indigenous communities to promote the organic production of coffee, vanilla, cacao, and honey, ensuring fair trade practices for artisans specializing in pottery, ceramics, and carpentry.

Every stay contributes to the continuity of this mission, supporting community development and cultural preservation.
