Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly has been announced as the latest ambassador for the Gentleman Givenchy men’s fragrance line. 

 

“For me, Givenchy embodies both timeless sophistication and a daring spirit,” Gasly shared. “I see the brand as a symbol of self-expression and the drive to constantly push beyond limits—values that align perfectly with my own mindset and way of life.”

 

Gasly made history in 2019 by becoming the youngest French driver to stand on a Formula 1 podium. The following year, he secured his first Grand Prix victory in Monza during the Italian GP. Fast forward to 2024, in his second season with the BWT Alpine F1 Team, Gasly was on the verge of securing a top-10 finish in the Driver Standings.

Additionally, his consistent performance played a key role in helping his team claim sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship, highlighted by his fifth career podium at the Brazilian Grand Prix in São Paulo.

 

The 29-year-old racer began his motorsport career at a young age, starting with karting before advancing to single-seater competitions. His early success in series like the Formula Renault Eurocup and the GP2 Series paved the way for his Formula 1 debut at the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix.

The perfect gentleman for Givenchy

Gentleman Givenchy ambassadors are chosen for their ability to embody both classic refinement and contemporary appeal.

 

“When we first met Pierre Gasly, there was an instant connection,” said Romain Spitzer, CEO of Givenchy Parfums. He noted that the driver’s genuine nature mirrors the brand’s philosophy. “He’s effortlessly stylish, charismatic, and naturally elegant.”

Beyond aesthetics, Gasly’s relentless pursuit of success and strong competitive spirit make him a fitting representative for the brand. “His energy is contagious, and his optimistic personality, combined with his generosity, makes him truly inspiring,” Spitzer added.

 

The Gentleman Society fragrance collection, which debuted in 2023, is built around core values such as confidence, integrity, and boldness. Spitzer emphasized that its ambassadors are selected for their remarkable character and dedication to excellence—qualities that Pierre Gasly embodies both on and off the track.

 

With a global following of over 6 million fans, including 5.5 million on Instagram alone, Gasly’s influence extends far beyond motorsports. Givenchy aims to connect with the younger generation through his ambassadorial role, aligning with the demographic trends of Formula 1, where nearly 40% of the fan base is female, and the average fan is under 32 years old.

A new season, a new chapter

Gasly is set to be the face of the campaign for Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée, which is launching globally this month. The 100-ml. bottle will be available at an approximate price of 136 euros.

 

As Givenchy’s second-largest fragrance collection, behind only L’Interdit, the Gentleman line holds an esteemed place in the brand’s history. Originally introduced in 1975, this year marks its 50th anniversary—a fitting milestone to welcome Gasly into the Givenchy family.

Aside from his new role in the fragrance world, Gasly remains fully focused on preparing for the upcoming Formula 1 season, which kicks off in March.
