Following the initial five editions and a sleek all-black model, Swatch is now making a bold statement with a vibrant pink version, creating the new Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean.

A Bold Evolution in the Collection

Following the launch of the first collection in 2023, the Swatch x Blancpain Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms expanded with two additional versions.

First came the Ocean of Storms in January 2024, an all-black edition. More recently, the brand introduced the Blue Lagoon, a turquoise variation that, surprisingly, did not generate much buzz.

However, Swatch’s latest release is sure to grab attention. If you’ve been looking for the ultimate pink watch, look no further.

The Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean takes pink to an extreme, outshining even the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition in sheer vibrancy.

A Striking All-Pink Design

While the core elements of the Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms remain unchanged, this edition is drenched in pink.

The 42.3mm Bioceramic case comes in a deep, almost magenta tone, extending to the bezel frame, crown, and case back.

A softer pink shade is used for the bezel insert, which features a resin composition infused with Super-LumiNova and a 60-minute scale in—of course—a darker pink hue.

Fifty Fathoms-inspired silhouette, including the Swatch branding on the side, a push-pull crown, a bio-sourced crystal on the front, and another on the back.

Water resistance remains at 91 meters (or 50 fathoms).

The dial continues the pink theme with a soft gradient finish and a textured surface.

Dark pink arabic numerals, hands, logos, and inscriptions enhance the contrast, while even the date disc follows the same bold color scheme.

Surprisingly, the lume does not glow pink, but the watch comes with a striped pink NATO strap made from recycled fishing nets, secured with a pink Bioceramic pin buckle and loops.

Performance and Availability

There are no mechanical changes. The watch runs on the Sistem51 movement, a fully automatic, industrially produced caliber that is non-serviceable but replaceable.

Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it offers an impressive 90-hour power reserve.

The movement’s rotor is decorated with a pink-hued water design and features the Ceratodoris rosacea nudibranch illustrations.

Released on February 1st, the new Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean will be available in select Swatch stores with no production limits.

Like its predecessors, it will be priced at EUR 400 or CHF 375.

When did Blancpain release the Fifty Fathoms?

Blancpain released the Fifty Fathoms dive watch in 1953. It was designed by Jean-Jacques Fiechter, the CEO of Blancpain at the time.

The Fifty Fathoms is considered the first modern dive watch.
