The carpet “Sempre sul filo”

A tribute to Philippe Petit, the legendary French high-wire artist known for his daring walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. Sempre sul filo (“Always on the Tightrope”) is a design by Italian Francesco Faccin for Nodus.

The design of the carpet captures the essence of tension, balance, and focus, central themes in Petit’s breathtaking performances.

The pattern evokes the feeling of a tightrope, with thin, linear elements that suggest a precarious path, perhaps suspended in mid-air.
