LightKeepers

The waterfront restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, LightKeepers, introduces a modern take on coastal cuisine, elevating the fine dining experience at this luxurious resort. Named in tribute to the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse, the ambiance mirrors its connection to the sea: open and airy spaces, seamless indoor-outdoor dining, an open kitchen, and a bar that extends onto a leafy patio.

It’s the perfect spot for happy hour, offered daily from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring cocktails and small bites priced between $5 and $8. For those seeking something more substantial, the menu offers fresh fish and seafood sourced straight from Florida’s shores.

Los Fuegos – Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Thanks to renowned Argentinian grill master Francis Mallmann, Los Fuegos has become one of Miami’s most upscale steakhouses. Situated within the opulent Faena Hotel, the restaurant revolves around wood-fire cooking, with most dishes prepared over an open flame.

Mallmann transforms traditional Argentinian barbecue into a refined dining experience, featuring delicacies like sweetbreads, skirt steak, ribeye, and chorizo, all drizzled with the restaurant’s signature aioli sauce infused with garlic and olive oil. If this feast doesn’t make your mouth water, it might be time to check your pulse.

Pao by Paul Qui

Pao stays true to its Spanish-Asian-French fusion roots with decadent holiday specials, including Hokkaido scallops with black truffle and mezcal-aged wagyu prime rib. Meanwhile, the glamorous, gilded restaurant at Faena also keeps it classic with a milk chocolate yule log spiced with mango chutney.

Runway 84

When it closed during the pandemic, Anthony’s Runway 84 had already reached the age of retirement.

Generations of Broward locals grew up visiting the spot with their grandparents, enjoying mussels and family-sized plates of cauliflower rigatoni in a space adorned with an airplane fuselage at its center, evoking the waiting area of a 1980s Disney attraction.

Inspired by the iconic scene from Goodfellas, where Henry bypasses the line at Copacabana and leads Karen to an exclusive table, the revamped Runway 84 aims to recreate that same sense of exclusivity. Collaborating with restaurateur Pat Marzano, its owners have brought this vision to life, offering diners a truly unique experience.

Toro Toro

The traditional American steakhouse gets a Miami twist at Toro Toro, a pan-Latin restaurant that made its debut in 2012 after its success in Dubai. The decor is sleek and masculine, featuring dark wood furnishings, leather seating, and wrought iron accents. For the ultimate dining experience, opt for the Rodizio service, priced at $65 per person.

This tableside feast includes unlimited servings of picanha steak, Omaha ribeye, lamb chops, chorizo sausage, and achiote chicken, paired with classic sides like rice, black beans, and creamed spinach.
