Luster, in partnership with Mandarin, officially launched Luster + Art magazine ‘Senses & Shapes’ during Art Basel Miami Beach week

In an event distinguished by elegance and good taste, Luster officially launched Luster + Art magazine “Senses & Shapes” during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach, in a joint presentation with the Mandarin brand.

 

The event, held at the Sales Gallery of Mandarin’s new project, was attended by relevant guests from the architecture, design, real estate and art world.

 

The event was accompanied by live music performed by master violinist Marcos Gallardo, whose repertoire included jazz and famous songs by Sinatra and Michael Bublé.

The launch of Luster + Art was held in conjunction with Mandarin, in an alliance between brands that understand luxury and sophistication.

 

At the event, Maile Aguile, Senior Advisor of Swire Properties, introduced guests to the new project, The Residences at the Mandarin Oriental. Aguile explained the details of the project, which is being developed by Swire Group, and how it will change the architecture of the area through its design and innovation.

 

Architect José Hernández, CEO of the Luster Group and visionary, was in charge of welcoming the new edition of Luster + Art “Senses & Shapes”. Luster Magazine is celebrating 10 years of publishing and every December launches a special issue dedicated to the art world, during Art Basel Miami Beach.

Luster + Art “Senses & Shapes”

The new issue of Luster + Art features articles by artists, designers, and art-inspired luxury products and services such as watches, hotels, and restaurants. The cover features Moldovan artist Pon Arsher, who is known not only for the quality of her emotionally charged work, but also for her ability to connect with viewers on social media.

 

Other interviewees include Ethiopian-born Italian artist and designer Abreham Brioschi, Dutch designer Kiki Van Eijk, and African artist Nicole Nomsa Moyo. The list is rounded out by Jared Silver, president of Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, and Rolf Studer, co-CEO of Oris, the Swiss watch brand celebrating its 120th anniversary.

 

The issue also includes a guide to Art Basel Miami Beach and the most important exhibitions in the city at the moment.

 

The issue also features articles on the 111 West 57th Street skyscraper, the Central Park Tower, Baccarat Hotel New York, The Ritz Carlton NoMad, Blue Box Café and Equinox.

 

And for those with a passion for luxury, this issue of Luster + Art “Senses & Shapes” features a list of high-end watches with elaborate artistic designs and a close-up look at the Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds collection designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, LV’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry.
