As an Official Partner of Formula 1®, American Express expands its presence in F1 racing, extending from five countries in the Americas to 22 countries worldwide, offering incredible access and experiences to more Cardmembers around the globe.

American Express and Formula 1® announced a new multi-year global sponsorship. This agreement expands Amex’s role, establishing it as the Official Partner of Formula 1® in Australia, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.

 

Elizabeth Rutledge, Chief Marketing Officer of American Express, commented: “We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Formula 1®, going even beyond the sponsorship we established last year.”

With over 300 million global fans aged 18 to 34, F1 continues to grow in popularity as a passion area for Millennials and Centennials, a customer segment experiencing accelerated growth.”

Thanks to this sponsorship expansion, F1 and Amex will continue working together to create exceptional experiences for fans at certain F1 Grand Prix events throughout the year. 

 

American Express Cardmembers will be able to enjoy exclusive access to the American Express Presale, Paddock Club™ admissions, and Grandstand seating. American Express will also have the opportunity to host business partners through select exclusive hospitality offers.

With this new agreement between Amex and F1, Cardmembers will enjoy even more benefits.

 

American Express has shown its support for women both on and off the racetrack by becoming one of the first official partners of F1 ACADEMY™, the F1 racing series for women, which debuted in 2023. 

 

Through this new agreement, Amex will continue to be an official partner of this category.

The multi-year global sponsorship of F1 is part of the company’s negotiations with world-class sports and entertainment associations, including basketball, tennis, golf, music, theater, and more, and solidifies the company’s commitment to providing Cardmembers access to incredible experiences worldwide.
