The video, directed by Natasha Ofili, an actress and advocate for the rights of people with hearing impairments, features a touching sign language interpretation of the song by the White Hands Choir of El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela.

Filmed at the historic Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, Greece, the video tells the love story of a couple, played by Ofili and actor Sean Harkins, who communicate through sign language.

As the song progresses, they are joined by members of the White Hands Choir, creating a magical and moving atmosphere.

The collaboration between Coldplay and El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela is not new. In 2016, the band and Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel surprised the world with their performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

This time, Coldplay wanted to go a step further, including a group of talented hearing-impaired musicians in their video, demonstrating the power of music to unite people and break down barriers.

The White Hands Choir, founded in 1995, is an example of the work carried out by El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela to integrate children, young people and adults with functional diversity into the country’s cultural life.

Through music, these young people have found a way to express themselves, develop their talent and be part of a community.

The video for “feelslikeimfallinginlove” is a message of hope and inclusion that reminds us that music is a universal language that can connect people from all backgrounds and abilities.

Coldplay and El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela invite us to celebrate diversity and open our hearts to the beauty of music without barriers.

An Example of Talent and Overcoming

Gustavo Dudamel is a Venezuelan conductor recognized worldwide for his talent, charisma and social commitment.

Born in Barquisimeto in 1975, Dudamel began his musical studies at an early age thanks to the Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela (El Sistema), a free educational program that provides access to music for children and young people from all social strata.

El Sistema: Founded in 1975 by the musician and economist José Antonio Abreu, El Sistema has transformed the lives of millions of children and young people in Venezuela, offering them an opportunity for personal and professional development through music.

The program is based on the philosophy that music is a fundamental right and that everyone has the potential to learn and enjoy it.

The union of Dudamel and El Sistema: Dudamel entered El Sistema at the age of four and quickly stood out for his musical talent.

Throughout his training, he received tutelage from renowned teachers such as José Antonio Abreu, Simon Rattle and Esa-Pekka Salonen.

In 1999, Dudamel was appointed director of the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra, El Sistema’s flagship orchestra, and under his baton the orchestra has achieved unprecedented international recognition.
