Summer is here and the call of adventure beckons! Whether you’re exploring bustling cities or seeking thrills underwater, having the right gear can make all the difference.
Doxa Sub 200T
Keeping up with the trend of smaller watches that suit a wider range of wrists, Doxa has added this 39mm diameter automatic Sub to its 2024 catalog. You can choose between a rubber strap in the same yellow as the dial (discreet types, please abstain) or a steel bracelet to secure it. Its water resistance, however, is: 200 meters.
Vulcain Skindiver Nautique
Orange dials are very common in the diving watch community because orange is one of the colors that is best seen in the sea. This steel piece from Vulcain with a black ceramic fluted bezel measures 38 mm and is equipped with an automatic three-hand movement. With luminescent material on the hour-markers and hands, typical of this type of model, it can easily be submerged to 200 meters.
Seiko SKX Series
The new SKX Series line of youth watches from Seiko’s Seiko 5 Sports collection has just seen the light with an automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It is designed for everyday use and is suitable for submerging in the ocean (up to 100 meters). It combines black and gold in a 42.5 mm diameter and 14.2 mm thick steel case, and provides a double calendar function.
Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver
It is designed for the city, but it dives into the water like a dolphin up to 300 meters. This automatic Pontos S Diver is made of a very seafaring material, bronze, and comes in a 42 mm limited edition of 888 units with an interchangeable brown leather strap. Its additional crown at 2 o’clock operates the internal rotating bezel to measure elapsed time.
Oris Summer Edition
This is the first time Oris has launched a special summer edition, and it debuts with an automatic Aquis Date 41.5 mm (one of the diving models it has redesigned this year), in this case in a delicious watermelon tone. Made of steel, it is attached to a three-link bracelet and features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, as well as a transparent caseback. It is water resistant to 300 m.
