Puma steps on the accelerator with Forever. Faster.: its largest marketing investment in a decade

Puma has launched its first global campaign in a decade, with a historic investment in marketing aimed at positioning itself as the “fastest brand in the world.”

Under the slogan “Forever. Faster.”, the campaign highlights how its products help athletes from various disciplines achieve peak performance.

Richard Teyssier emphasizes that with this campaign, it is “the first time Puma has a single message.”

From football to basketball and handball, it will be spread through a media journey including social media, television, outdoors, public relations, and points of sale.

The commercial spot features elite athletes such as footballers Jack Grealish, Luis Suárez, and Neymar Jr., sprinter Shericka Jackson, and basketball player Breanna Stewart

A plan to relaunch the brand

“Forever. Faster.” is part of a broader marketing restructuring plan aimed at “elevating” the brand.

“Our new global brand campaign is Puma’s largest marketing investment in its history.” This is Richard Teyssier’s definition, vice president of brand and marketing at Puma regarding their action launched on April 10.

Founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, Puma has a long 75-year history of working with athletes, clubs, and federations to deliver sporting excellence.

The slogan “Forever. Faster.”, previously used in 2014, has been relaunched in this new campaign to reflect the brand’s commitment to speed and performance.

The campaign debuts at a pivotal moment for sports marketing, with events such as the Olympic Games, the UEFA European Men’s Football Championship, and the Copa America on the horizon.
