A Setting Where Luxury Meets Fresh Snowfall

Courchevel’s snowy slopes wrap the property like a private stage. Guests step from heated interiors directly into powdery terrain.

High-end boutiques lie only meters away, offering Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton for those seeking new winter looks. The hotel encourages a flexible rhythm.

A Story Rooted in Alpine Craftsmanship

The hotel’s foundations go back to a transformative renovation in 1992. Aman infused the structure with contemporary elegance without losing the warmth of a traditional chalet. Every surface reflects craftsmanship.

Timber walls, glowing fireplaces, sculpted alcoves, and restrained Japanese elements form a harmonious sanctuary. Guests arrive via a scenic road transfer or a brisk helicopter ride from Geneva or Lyon, setting the tone for an exclusive escape.

The season is short, from December to April, but regular visitors reserve rooms nearly a year ahead, waiting for the season’s first snowfall whispers.

Rooms Framed by Snow-Dusted Views

Each room delivers a sense of intimate luxury. Wooden panels glow softly under warm lighting.

Bonsai trees, orchids, and bento-style pastry presentations bring a delicate Asian refinement. Many accommodations overlook the Bellecôte Piste, creating a living panorama of skiers gliding past in couture-inspired ensembles.

Select terraces feature wooden hot tubs for daring guests willing to dash from warm interiors into winter air. Five suites include large bathrooms crafted from marble and stone, with deep soaking tubs and rainfall showers.

Amenities remain generous, with plush robes, Dyson dryers, humidifiers, and curated mini-bars.

Dining that Celebrates Comfort and Purity

Cuisine becomes a highlight of each stay. The property hosts two distinct dining experiences.

A relaxed lounge serves small plates, cocktails, and mountain views beside roaring fires.

Nama, the signature Japanese restaurant, elevates dining with pristine sashimi, velvety black cod, wagyu sliders, and sushi rolls prepared with precision.

Breakfast is included, and either lunch or dinner complements the room rate. Guests choosing half-board may also dine at select partner restaurants in Courchevel, including the beloved Le Chalet de Pierres.

Its warm fondue, crusty bread, and decadent dessert table create a memorable stop between slopes.

Wellness Rooted in Deep Restoration

Non-skiers often choose a wellness-focused stay, discovering that Courchevel offers just as much indulgence off the slopes.

The hotel’s expansive spa extends beneath the property, creating a cocoon of calm embellished with a pool, hammam, two jacuzzis, and serene daybeds.

Treatments range from Thai and hot stone massages to facials tailored for winter skin.

Skiers seeking recovery turn to the Japanese Iyashi Dôme, an infrared sauna pod designed for muscle renewal.

Even the cold plunge at 12 degrees becomes a refreshing ritual after long days outdoors.

The Allure of Courchevel and Its Endless Terrain

Courchevel 1850 opens access to the legendary Three Valleys network. Over 600 kilometers of pistes connect Meribel, Val Thorens, and Courchevel, offering majestic routes for every skill level.

The region remains synonymous with glamour. Michelin-starred dining, vintage Champagne, and sophisticated après-ski set the tone for evenings.

Snow-covered chalets and glistening ridges complete the postcard scenery.

Service remains a defining strength. Staff anticipate needs with clarity and warmth. Ski passes, transfers, instructors, and equipment rentals are arranged instantly.

The ski room, designed by Bernard Orcel, includes heated boot racks and a winter-sports boutique curated with high-performance gear.
