During Miami Art Week 2025, the Miami Design District will once again take center stage as a hub of luxury and imagination.

This vibrant neighborhood, defined by its bold architecture and cultural energy, offers a rare fusion of design galleries, flagship boutiques, fine dining, and world-class exhibitions.

Founded by visionary entrepreneur Craig Robins in partnership with L Catterton Real Estate, the Miami Design District has evolved beyond a shopping destination.

The 10th Annual Design Commission: Katie Stout’s “Gargantua’s Thumb”

The highlight of Miami Art Week 2025 is undoubtedly the 10th Annual Design Commission, presented by the Miami Design District in collaboration with Design Miami Curatorial Lab.

This milestone edition honors acclaimed artist Katie Stout, known for her whimsical, imaginative approach to design.

Her new installation, Gargantua’s Thumb, transforms the district into a surreal playground. Visitors will encounter a fantastical collection of sculptural furniture.

The heart of the installation features an interactive carousel, designed to engage both children and adults in a joyful dialogue between fantasy and function.

The installation will debut during Miami Art Week 2025 and remain on view until spring 2026, extending its magic well beyond the festival’s close.

The Craig Robins Collection: “Walking on Air”

Just steps away, within Dacra’s headquarters, from December 1, the Craig Robins Collection unveils its 2025–2026 exhibition, Walking on Air

This new installation highlights over 1,700 works of modern and contemporary art, creating a dialogue between history and experimentation.

At its core lies the work of Richard Tuttle, whose minimalist gestures and spatial delicacy redefine the limits of sculpture and form.

Early pieces like Drift (1965) and Letters (1966) anchor the exhibition, while dialogues with David Hammons, John Baldessari, and Marcel Duchamp reveal a shared fascination with gravity, space, and coincidence.

Complementing these historical voices, the exhibition features emerging talents such as Jana Euler, Sasha Gordon, and Xinyi Cheng, alongside recent acquisitions by Lauren Halsey, Sam McKinniss, and Jill Mulleady.

Walking on Air transcends the static gallery model, allowing viewers to move through the collection as if suspended in a delicate balance between weight and levity—a perfect metaphor for the spirit of Miami Art Week 2025.

Cartier: “Panthère Into the Wild”

Luxury meets legend at Cartier’s Panthère Into the Wild exhibition, an immersive journey through the Maison’s most iconic emblem.

The panther—symbol of power, grace, and mystery—takes center stage in this multisensory experience designed for Miami Art Week 2025.

Visitors can explore interactive environments that trace the feline’s evolution, from her first appearance on a watch to her reign as a jewelry icon.

Rare archival pieces from the Cartier Collection sit beside contemporary masterpieces that showcase the brand’s timeless savoir-faire.

This installation blurs the line between art and luxury, offering a narrative that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the untamed beauty of the natural world.

From December 5 to 7, Cartier’s jungle of elegance will be open daily, inviting guests to step “into the wild” at 23 NE 41st Street.
