Photographed by Sammy Khoury and styled by Sarah Richardson, the McQueen 2025 Holiday Edit unfolds within the opulent halls of Eltham Palace, where grandeur meets rebellion.

Under the creative direction of Seán McGirr, McQueen turns celebration into an act of performance, inviting movement, emotion, and audacity into every stitch.

Each look in the collection feels alive—charged with a magnetic tension between classic elegance and modern excess.

The McQueen 2025 Holiday Edit transforms the idea of “holiday attire” into something elemental and sculptural, something that commands both space and light.

Textures that Speak of Power and Fantasy

McQueen’s exploration of texture becomes a language of seduction and rebellion.

A deep burgundy gown, cut with architectural precision, reflects light from jeweled collars, while cobweb lace in vibrant crimson reveals the skin beneath with calculated boldness.

The collection’s metallic finishes shimmer like city lights seen through champagne glass. Each piece pulses with energy.

Accessories heighten the dialogue between fantasy and precision. The iconic Knuckle Clutch sparkles with crystals that catch every flicker of light.

The Skull Flower Bag, in molten metallic hues, becomes both ornament and weapon. Satin sandals adorned with crystal bows add softness to otherwise sculptural silhouettes, blending fragility with force.

Tailoring as a Form of Rebellion

McGirr’s interpretation of McQueen tailoring is sharp yet unpredictable. The tuxedo—a timeless symbol of structure.

Lines blur between masculine and feminine, between control and abandon. Jackets open like petals, trousers cut with deliberate defiance.

This tailoring is meant to move—from afternoon shadow to midnight light, from precision into pure celebration.

The McQueen 2025 Holiday Edit thus expands the vocabulary of the house—where individuality is not just permitted, but exalted.

Jewelry with a Story to Tell

Jewelry in this collection does not decorate—it narrates. Pearls wrap around McQueen’s signature Skull motif, merging fragility with defiance.

The reinterpreted Manta Bag glimmers like broken glass, decorated with shattered chandelier fragments and symbolic charms.

Each accessory evokes McGirr’s fascination with the line between beauty and distortion.

The pieces shimmer not only with craftsmanship but also with meaning: a tension between grace and power, between the human and the sculptural.

A Dialogue Between Architecture and Fashion

Inside Eltham Palace, time seems suspended. The setting—ornate, regal, slightly surreal—mirrors the reflective textures of the collection.

Khoury’s camera captures moments of stillness and intensity, where light bends across crystal surfaces and silk folds like liquid metal.

Models including Lily McMenamy, Tsion Teferi, Haojie Qi, Athiec Geng, Cirillo, Libby Bennett, Jum Kuochnin, and Liu Qinzheng embody the season’s duality—movement and poise, energy and restraint.

Their presence transforms the campaign into a tableau of contrasts: the body as both architecture and emotion.
