The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is not merely a trade show; it is a meticulously curated gallery showcasing the aspirations of the ultra-high-net-worth individual.

Each year, the show’s highly anticipated fleet includes vessels from the world’s most venerated shipyards, each one a floating testament to bespoke craftsmanship.

The upcoming display —Oct. 29 – Nov. 2— promises to be particularly dazzling, featuring two exceptional yachts that embody the peak of their respective classes: the immense 66.25m Hampshire by Feadship and the boundary-pushing SL86A by Sanlorenzo.

For those who view the ocean as their ultimate private canvas, the allure of these magnificent yachts is irresistible. The convergence of cutting-edge technology, sumptuous materials, and globally renowned design teams ensures that the vessels on display are more than just transport—they are statements of power and prestige. From classic Dutch excellence to modern Italian asymmetry, the finest yachts arriving in Fort Lauderdale are set to impress.

Feadship’s Majestic Hampshire: A Masterpiece of Dutch Pedigree

Hailing from the legendary Dutch shipyard Feadship, the 66.25-meter motor yacht Hampshire (ex. Vanish) is a benchmark of uncompromising quality. Delivered in 2016, she is a collaboration between Feadship’s in-house naval architects and the British design house Harrison Eidsgaard, responsible for both the sleek exterior lines and the magnificent interior architecture.

With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Hampshire is a displacement vessel that offers both transatlantic range and the stability required for true global exploration.

The essence of Hampshire‘s appeal lies in its grand, yet functional, spaces. A key architectural feature is the three-deck-high atrium that floods the interior with natural light, creating a sense of airy volume rarely found on the water.

Accommodation for up to fourteen guests is handled with consummate style, highlighted by a supremely spacious full-beam master suite complete with its own private study. Currently available for sale, this is one of the most significant pre-owned yachts to grace the Florida show.

The Sanlorenzo SL86A: Redefining Asymmetric Design

In striking contrast to Hampshire‘s monumental volume, the Sanlorenzo SL86A represents the zenith of modern production yacht innovation. The ‘A’ in its designation stands for Asymmetric, a concept that Sanlorenzo has expertly pioneered to maximize usable space within the hull’s volume. By eliminating one of the side decks on the port side, the yacht gains substantial interior square footage, particularly for the main salon.

This brilliant design choice allows the vessel to enjoy a full-beam layout, traditionally reserved for much larger superyachts. Scheduled to make its anticipated U.S. debut at the Fort Lauderdale show, the SL86A is a captivating flybridge model that embodies the Italian shipyard’s sophisticated aesthetic. It delivers an intimate connection to the water, merging the boundary between interior luxury and the expansive marine environment, making it a definitive example of next-generation planing yachts.

The magnificent ETERNITY stretches an impressive 213 feet in length, a creation of the esteemed Italian shipyard Codecasa, originally launched in 2010 and masterfully refitted in 2022. Designed with refined elegance and comfort in mind, this superyacht welcomes up to 12 guests across seven lavish suites.

Among them, the grand master stateroom graces the main deck, accompanied by four sumptuous double cabins and two well-appointed twin rooms, each crafted to deliver an exceptional experience at sea.

As her name suggests, ETERNITY is made for endless horizons and crystal-clear waters—her preferred playground being the turquoise expanse of the Bahamas. Every curve and detail of the vessel embodies sophistication and relaxation, inviting her guests to embrace the art of ocean living in style.
