Loro Piana unveils the Loro Highlands capsule collection through an exclusive campaign starring British model and equestrian Edie Campbell, captured by photographer Alasdair McLellan amid the countryside charm of Gloucestershire.

The visuals radiate a refined equestrian sensibility—an atmosphere that feels authentic, given Campbell’s status as both a celebrated rider and a member of the Loro Piana Eventing Team, which competes in the demanding three-day disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping while proudly wearing the Loro Piana uniform.

Among the key fabrics is the Loro Clan tartan, a luxurious reinterpretation of traditional Scottish patterns, woven from ultra-soft cashmere and the brand’s proprietary Wish wool.

The tartan appears in two distinctive variations—one blending brown and beige hues, and another featuring green shades reminiscent of the rolling landscapes that inspired the Loro Highlands name. Signature pieces include the Elia shirt for men and the Dalia blouse for women.

The Ride of Refinement

The collection’s palette draws deeply from the natural tones of the Scottish Highlands in autumn, blending moss green, deep brown, ochre, and copper orange to evoke a landscape bathed in seasonal warmth.

Outerwear takes center stage, particularly the brand’s iconic Horsey jacket, here reimagined in a three-layer blend of linen, silk, and jersey lined with the Loro Clan tartan. Oversized coats and double-breasted trenches emphasize ease, movement, and comfort without sacrificing elegance.

Autumn in Motion

Loro Piana’s deep-rooted connection to the equestrian world has been integral to its identity for decades. The brand founded the Loro Piana Jumping Team in 1985 and has maintained enduring partnerships with the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports and the Italian Show Jumping Team.

Since then, Loro Piana has continued to outfit the Italian team at multiple Olympic Games and international events, including the European and World Equestrian Championships.

The brand also sponsors prestigious competitions such as the Loro Piana Puissance Event and the Loro Piana City of Rome Grand Prix, held annually at the historic Piazza di Siena for more than three decades.

Today, equestrian excellence continues to define the brand’s spirit, with elite riders like Edwina Tops-Alexander, Jessica Springsteen, and Lorenzo De Luca representing the Loro Piana Jumping Team on the international stage.

Paralympic dressage champion Sara Morganti also competes under the banner of the Loro Piana Paradressage Team, wearing uniforms that combine precision tailoring and technical innovation. The Loro Highlands capsule is, in essence, a tribute to this enduring union between craftsmanship, sport, and the timeless beauty of nature.
