Miami Art Week witnessed the groundbreaking collaboration between calligrapher RETNA and sculptor Lina Condes, as their joint artwork iSculpture SPHYNX made its debut.
The monumental sculpture, originally unveiled at the Venice Biennale, was transformed with RETNA’s iconic script, merging physical form with digital animation and symbolic language.
The opening evening’s highlight was an immersive culinary performance by Flaveur Restaurant, featuring a live bluefin tuna-cutting spectacle, elevating gastronomy to an art form.
The collaboration extended to fashion, with RETNA customizing a luxury bag from JaneFinds, blurring the lines between art and collectible design.
iSculpture SPHYNX is now set to travel to Manhattan as part of a public art project, with future plans for Olympic and Paralympic museum environments in Colorado.
The exhibition was supported by Charter Jet One and BluWater Group, champions of luxury and innovation.
The duo also introduced CAPSULE, a series of collectible tabletop sculptures, reimagining Rodin’s The Thinker through Condes’ contemporary lens.
