The visionary behind Casa Cruz is Juan Santa Cruz, an entrepreneur who built his reputation through successful establishments in London and Argentina before bringing his concept to New York City. Since opening, the venue has become a magnet for global celebrities and influential figures, including Meghan Markle, David Beckham, Elton John, and Mick Jagger.

Dining at the restaurant is challenging, even beyond the financial barrier. Although there is a public-facing restaurant option, waiting lists are notoriously long. Prices reflect the premium nature of the experience, with pasta dishes averaging around €30 (USD 35), Iberian ham priced near €36 (USD 42), and Wagyu beef picanha reaching approximately €78 (USD 92) per serving.

New Definition of Culinary Exclusivity

An interesting detail lies in the venue’s approach to attire. Rather than enforcing a single dress code, guidelines shift depending on whether the occasion is lunch, dinner, or a private event. That said, certain items are strictly prohibited, including sportswear, tank tops, casual T-shirts, blue jeans, baseball caps, and flip-flops—rules clearly outlined on the official website.
