Bottega Veneta Opens a New Chapter in New York’s Meatpacking District

A dedicated display cabinet draws attention to the brand’s signature craftsmanship, highlighting both its iconic color palette and the meticulous artistry behind the Intrecciato leather weave. 

First introduced five decades ago, the Intrecciato technique remains central to Bottega Veneta’s identity, symbolizing its philosophy of discreet luxury and exceptional handwork. This installation allows visitors to better understand the skill, time, and tradition that define the house.

The store’s design also acknowledges the creative energy of the Meatpacking District and Bottega Veneta’s long-standing relationship with New York’s artistic community. Carefully selected artworks are displayed throughout the space, while an in-store library offers an intellectual dimension rarely found in luxury retail. 

With a focus on poetry and painting, the collection includes notable titles such as Robert Rauschenberg’s illustrations for Dante’s Inferno, Etel Adnan’s Between East & West, and Ed Roberson’s Road Poems, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to cultural dialogue.

Beyond this new opening, Bottega Veneta maintains a strong footprint across New York City, with additional locations on Madison Avenue, in SoHo, and at Brookfield Place.
