In a powerful homage to one of motorsport’s most iconic figures, TAG Heuer has unveiled two new Formula 1 Chronographs that celebrate the enduring legacy of Ayrton Senna. Released during the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix, the watches mark a new chapter in a partnership that began in 1988—when Senna first became a brand ambassador for the Swiss luxury watchmaker.

The new releases include the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Senna 44mm Automatic and the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Senna 43mm Quartz. Each model reflects a distinct facet of Senna’s persona—one technical and daring, the other classic and refined.

 

The 44mm automatic chronograph is crafted in black DLC-coated titanium, featuring a forged carbon bezel engraved with Senna’s iconic “S” logo. Its sunray-brushed black dial is accented with Brazilian yellow, including a lacquered seconds hand and a subdial at 6 o’clock that mirrors the colors of Senna’s helmet and heritage.

 

The 43mm quartz version revives the legendary S/EL bracelet worn by Senna himself, updated in stainless steel with a modern silhouette. It’s a nod to the timeless elegance of the driver’s off-track style, paired with a robust chronograph movement built for everyday performance.
