From November 2 to 4, the Miami Design District will once again become a hub for dialogue, creativity, and forward-thinking fashion at the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS Miami).

Founded by Estefanía Lacayo and Samantha Tams, this dynamic platform bridges Latin American talent with the international fashion scene, giving emerging designers, entrepreneurs, and industry icons a shared space for collaboration and growth.

This year’s edition promises more than just glamour—it delivers substance.

With a curated lineup of talks, workshops, and panels, LAFS Miami continues to push boundaries in sustainability, innovation, and cross-border commerce.

Where Fashion, Technology, and Storytelling Intersect

The 2025 summit reflects the evolution of an industry driven by technology and cultural storytelling.

Top executives from Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, Revolve, Shopbop, Saks Global, and The Webster will gather to discuss how digitalization and creative commerce are shaping the next decade of fashion.

Artificial intelligence, ethical production, and branding strategies will be key topics.

Disney will host a special panel exploring creativity’s cultural influence, accompanied by an immersive exhibition dedicated to the legacy of storytelling in design.

These discussions aim not only to forecast the future but also to inspire tangible change within the creative ecosystem.

Spotlight on Emerging Talent

One of the most anticipated moments at LAFS Miami is “Pitch to LAFS,” a competition that empowers emerging Latin American designers.

Each participant presents their brand to a jury of international leaders, including Karla Martínez (Vogue México), Johanna Ortiz, Elizabeth von der Goltz, and Carmen Busquets.

The event has become a launchpad for visionary creators who embody craftsmanship, innovation, and a contemporary Latin identity.

This year’s Visionary of the Year award, presented by Zacapa, honors Patricia Bonaldi, creative director of PatBo, for her commitment to elevating Latin American fashion on the global stage.

Iconic Venues, Curated Experiences

Miami’s vibrant landscape will once again serve as the perfect canvas for the summit.

Venues such as the Istituto Marangoni Miami, Palm Court, Atrium, and Paradise Plaza will transform into immersive spaces designed for connection and discovery.

From thought-provoking panels and hands-on workshops to networking events and pop-up showcases, LAFS Miami promises a full agenda that blends business with inspiration.

The LAFS Pop-Up at Paradise Plaza will feature the newest collections from emerging Latin designers, while the closing celebration at the historic Alfred I. Dupont Building will provide an unforgettable finale.

A Movement Supported by Global Leaders

Behind the elegance of LAFS Miami stands a powerful network of sponsors and institutional allies.

Partners like Kering, Zacapa, Victoria’s Secret, and Mr. C Coconut Grove have joined forces to support the event’s mission of creativity, diversity, and empowerment.

Craig Robins, CEO of Dacra and mastermind behind the Miami Design District, describes the summit as a reflection of the city’s identity: “Through thoughtful curation, the district has become a global destination for art, design, and fashion.”

Miami: The Heart of Latin Fashion Innovation

Mayor Daniella Levine Cava emphasized the event’s impact: “LAFS will inspire connections, foster creativity, and promote the innovation that defines both Latin American fashion and our local community.”
