When Hermès ventures into watchmaking, it does so with the same poetic sensibility that defines its silk, leather, and craftsmanship.

With the new Hermès Cut now featuring a serene light blue dial, the Parisian maison once again captures the delicate balance between modern design and timeless sophistication. This isn’t just a new colorway — it’s a new expression of the Hermès spirit in motion.

A New Shade of Refinement

The name Hermès immediately conjures images of artistry and savoir-faire. Translating that heritage into a contemporary wristwatch is no small feat — yet the Hermès Cut achieves it effortlessly. Now refreshed with a luminous light blue dial, it stands as a refined yet relaxed interpretation of modern elegance.

The Origin of the Hermès Cut

Unveiled in 2024 under the creative direction of Philippe Delhotal, the Cut collection redefined the idea of a unisex luxury watch. Its design challenges convention: neither round nor rectangular, the case features two polished “cuts” along the sides, creating a cushion-like shape that feels both classic and contemporary.

Even the crown placement — set unconventionally at 1:30 — reflects the maison’s quiet rebellion against symmetry. The result is a piece that feels effortless yet carefully considered, unmistakably Hermès in its restraint and precision.
