Contrary to what one might expect, futuristic composites or radical engineering breakthroughs don’t define this creation. Instead, the independent Swiss maison H. Moser & Cie embraced sophistication and glamour, drawing on the influence of Pierre Gasly, Alpine’s lead driver, to craft the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly.
When Time Learns to Race: H. Moser & Cie × Pierre Gasly
On the eve of the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, just as the Marina Bay Street Circuit buzzes with anticipation, H. Moser & Cie unveiled its newest Formula 1–inspired timepiece.

Since early 2024, H. Moser & Cie has served as the official timing partner of Alpine Motorsports, with the collaboration yielding several memorable limited editions. First came the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine, dressed in striking blue. This was soon followed by a playful pink edition unveiled at the Miami Grand Prix, then by a dual launch for the 2025 season — the Streamliner Alpine Driver’s Edition and Mechanics Edition.
Tourbillon with a Twist
The Driver’s model highlighted the innovative Agengraphe chronograph within a bold skeletonized dial, while the Mechanics version reimagined the Streamliner as a connected tool, offering specialized data for team operations and race monitoring.
For this latest chapter, however, the brand departed from team-themed executions and entrusted Gasly himself with the design brief. A longtime enthusiast of fine watches, the French driver brought both a personal vision and a passion for horology to the collaboration. The resulting watch feels more “black-tie gala” than “pit lane,” channeling Gasly’s refined style while maintaining the Streamliner’s recognizable DNA.
The 40mm case, rendered in 18k rose gold, demonstrates the maison’s mastery of surface play, alternating between brushed finishes and polished contours. Its cushion-shaped profile has become a hallmark of the Streamliner family, while the sunray-brushed bezel radiates a subtle brilliance from the dial’s center. Slim at just 12.1mm, the piece balances elegance with mechanical power.
H. Moser & Cie Brings F1 Elegance
At its heart lies a fumé dial — a signature of H. Moser & Cie — finished here in a deep chocolate brown. The color pairs seamlessly with the warmth of the gold case, giving the watch understated refinement. Rose gold markers circle the dial, while the hands are accented with luminous Globolight inserts for readability.
In a personal nod to Gasly, the 10 o’clock index is replaced by a baguette-cut ruby, a tribute to his Formula 1 race number. Appropriately, the edition is capped at just 10 pieces worldwide, underscoring both exclusivity and intimacy.
Beneath the dial beats the calibre HMC 805, an in-house automatic movement that embodies both technical prowess and artisanal beauty. It features a one-minute flying tourbillon with a rare double hairspring escapement, engineered to enhance precision by reducing positional errors.
Even more impressive, these hairsprings are manufactured internally — a capability only a handful of watchmakers in the world possess. The movement is decorated with Moser stripes, anthracite finishing, and a skeletonized rotor crafted from rose gold, ensuring the back of the watch is as captivating as the front.
By weaving together Pierre Gasly’s personality, Alpine’s Formula 1 presence, and its own artistry, H. Moser & Cie has created more than just another sports-inspired watch.
