Latin American fashion has always thrived on contrasts—vibrant color palettes, artisanal details, and modern reinterpretations of heritage, and that’s where Stitch Lab is born.
Stitch Lab changed that narrative, creating not only a pop-up, but a cultural bridge that redefined the way fashion travels across borders.
Each edition of Stitch Lab went beyond commerce. The event was never about racks of clothing.
Designers and shoppers met face-to-face, forging connections rarely seen in traditional retail spaces.
Karina Rosendo, the visionary behind the project, did not come from a conventional fashion background.
Her career began in television production, where she spent two decades shaping live broadcasts, news, and award shows.
Constant exposure to celebrity styling and red-carpet culture sparked her fascination with design.
That shift became the seed of Stitch Lab, a platform built to give Latin American designers access to one of the most competitive markets in the world.
Rosendo initially questioned what Stitch Lab could be: a PR agency, a sales platform, or an intermediary? Ultimately, it evolved into all three.
By orchestrating immersive pop-up experiences, the project elevated brands, offered visibility, and delivered commerce without stripping designers of their creative integrity.
