This season, Loewe partnered with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation for the Loewe FW25, translating their visual language into textiles, silhouettes, and accessories.

Color blocks become garments, while woven patterns reemerge as subtle design codes.

A Campaign of Portraits and Characters

Shot by Arnaud Lajeunie, the campaign unfolds like a gallery of modern portraits.

Each subject is more than a model; they are collaborators, offering their identity as a canvas for the collection.

British icon Lesley Manville, rising star Raffey Cassidy, German actor Felix Kammerer, and Chinese actor Jiang Qiming form a cast that bridges cinema, stage, and contemporary culture.

Their presence suggests that artistry is not only stitched into fabric but embodied in character.

Textures That Speak

Surface becomes language in Loewe FW25. Coats reflect Albers-inspired geometry, while accessories echo woven tactility.

Bags anchor the collection—Puzzle, Madrid, Flamenco, and Amazona—serving as signatures of craftsmanship.

Smaller leather goods extend this dialogue, emphasizing material over ornament.

Footwear debuts include the Toy mules, Ballet runner, and Comic sandal, each sculpted with structural precision.

Even eyewear, such as the Collage and Shield Mask sunglasses, turns utility into a statement.

Beyond Fashion: A Social Gesture

Aligned with its artistic collaboration, Loewe continues its humanitarian commitments.

Through the Albers Foundation and non-profit Le Korsa, the brand supports Les Foyers de Tambacounda, a women’s center in Senegal.

Their initiatives expand Sutura, a sewing collective; introduce an art program led by a Dakar professor; and develop The Tire Recycling Project.

These efforts transform design ideals into tangible community empowerment.

The Closing Chapter of an Era

The Loewe FW25 collection marks Jonathan Anderson’s final season as creative director.

His tenure redefined the house through material experimentation and unexpected collaborations.

This last offering serves as both culmination and farewell, a testament to Anderson’s ability to marry heritage with avant-garde.

By engaging with the Albers legacy, he leaves Loewe not only with memorable collections but with an identity rooted in dialogue between art and craft.

Lesley Manville, whose work spans Phantom Thread to The Crown, continues to embody British theater and film excellence.

Meanwhile, Jiang Qiming, recipient of a Magnolia Award, represents China’s evolving cinema landscape.

Each figure adds cultural depth to the campaign, reinforcing Loewe’s embrace of creativity across disciplines.
