Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, the most awarded bourbon and American whiskey brand since 2019, proudly announces the release of its highly anticipated Uncle Nearest Drops 2025 Master Blend Edition.

 

This special edition was recently honored as the World’s Best Bourbon by top bartenders at the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards. Marking the brand’s eighth anniversary, this collectible whiskey comes with a historic expansion and an exclusive new twist.

 

For the very first time, the acclaimed Master Blend Edition — long considered one of the rarest and most coveted expressions in the Uncle Nearest portfolio — will be available beyond the distillery.

 

Limited to only 8,888 bottles, the release symbolizes eight years of paying tribute to Nearest Green, the first known African American master distiller. This release is one of the few limited editions Uncle Nearest plans to launch this year.

The Artistry Behind the Blend

Each blend is carefully curated by Victoria Eady Butler, a fifth-generation descendant of Nearest Green and a four-time Master Blender of the Year. Victoria selects the most exceptional barrels from each batch, setting them aside to craft the boldest and most refined whiskey yet. The result is a cask-strength bourbon layered with rich aromas of caramelized sugar, dark fruits, and warm baking spices.

Awards and Accolades

To date, the Uncle Nearest Drops 2025 Master Blend Edition has collected over 270 awards, including 46 Double Golds and 106 Gold medals. In 2025 alone, it earned prestigious titles such as World’s Best Bourbon, Best Whiskey, Best Tennessee Whiskey, and Spirit of the Year at the Bartender Spirits Awards.

 

The bourbon also received top honors at the SIP Awards, winning Consumer Choice and Innovation awards in consecutive years, and was named Best Bottled and Blended Tennessee Whiskey at the ADI International Spirits Awards.
