This August, the legendary MoonSwatch line welcomes a gleaming new entry: the Mission to EarthPhase Moonshine Gold.

For just one day, this lust-worthy piece will ignite frenzy at Swatch boutiques worldwide.

What began as a playful fusion between Omega and Swatch has evolved into something iconic.

The Swatch Moonshine Gold editions redefined accessible luxury.

Now, the EarthPhase variant elevates the series further, combining storytelling, space heritage, and high design in one bold statement.

What Makes This Watch So Special?

For starters, it’s not just about looks. This is the most complex MoonSwatch to date. It introduces a dual-phase indicator: the moon as seen from Earth, and Earth as seen from the moon.

Each operates on opposing 29.5-day cycles, adding astronomical precision to its poetic design.

At 2 o’clock on the dial, you’ll spot the moonphase—glowing thanks to Omega’s proprietary Swatch Moonshine Gold

The Earthphase sits opposite, rotating in reverse as a nod to lunar reflection. It’s deeply metaphorical and mechanically brilliant.

A Touch of Snoopy and a Glimpse of History

Lurking beneath the planet’s image? A charming easter egg: Snoopy and Woodstock perched atop the moon, gazing at Earth. It’s whimsical, but also loaded with legacy.

Under UV light, the phrase “I beat everybody…” appears—an homage to Omega’s Speedmaster triumphing over Rolex and Longines in NASA’s space race of the ’60s.

This same quote is etched into the Bioceramic caseback, a subtle brag turned collector’s flex.

Inspired by the Sturgeon Moon

Releasing under August’s full Sturgeon Moon, the watch nods to natural rhythms. Two radiant full moons adorn the dial.

One is “Snoopy-style,” complete with his pawprint—mirroring Neil Armstrong’s first step. The other is captured in a net-like design, evoking the fishing origins of the moon’s name.

Swatch’s design storytelling goes beyond materials—it’s about experience.

Swatch Moonshine Gold Returns, Refined

Unlike previous models, the Swatch Moonshine Gold on this edition isn’t just for second hands. It gleams from the moonphase disc, adding warmth and exclusivity.

That alone elevates the watch from playful collectible to modern treasure.

Here’s the catch: this watch is only available on August 9. No restocks. No online sales. No exceptions. One unit per person per store.

And Swatch won’t disclose how many they’ll release per location.

Final Specs Worth Knowing

The watch keeps its 42mm case and 13.75mm thickness. Quartz-powered with a running seconds chronograph, tachymeter bezel, luminous hands and markers, and—for the first time—a rubber strap with Velcro.
