Michael Schumacher’s Legacy in Racing Attire

The crown jewel of this Schumacher auction is undoubtedly the 1996 Scuderia Ferrari OMP Signed Racing Suit.

Schumacher wore it during his legendary victory at the Monaco Grand Prix. Estimated between €20,000 and €30,000, the suit is more than memorabilia.

Another suit from the same season, worn during the Hockenheim race weekend, offers another intimate glimpse into Schumacher’s early Ferrari days.

Relics From Championship Seasons

Going back further, the 1995 Benetton suit—signed by Schumacher—marks his second Drivers’ World Championship win.

That season, he also secured Benetton’s only Constructors’ title, a milestone never repeated.

From 1992, a Sparco suit worn by Schumacher in Mexico when he finished third also takes collectors back to the roots of his legendary career.

Wristwatches With Motorsport DNA

Alongside racing suits, timepieces with deep connections to motorsport are also on offer.

Jean Todt’s 1993 personal Girard-Perregaux automatic chronograph, numbered “00,” reflects his role in Ferrari’s resurgence.

Gianni Agnelli’s Cartier watch, a gift from Enzo Ferrari, adds glamor and legacy, making it another star piece in this dynamic Schumacher auction.

Helmets That Wrote History

Several helmets worn by Schumacher are included in the auction.

A 2005 Schuberth RF1 helmet from his Ferrari years, a 1991 Arai helmet from his debut season, and a commemorative version honoring engineer Gary Anderson reflect Schumacher’s technical mastery and evolution.

Also featured is a 2022 Bell promotional helmet signed by Charles Leclerc, bridging past and present F1 heroes.

Gloves, Boots, and More

The sale extends beyond helmets and suits. A pair of gloves worn by Schumacher in the 2000 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim represents his determination during that era.

Racing boots from Lewis Hamilton’s 2014 season and Ayrton Senna’s signed Mizuno boots offer additional layers of historical value.

These wearable artifacts carry the sweat, precision, and pressure of competition.

Two Wheels, One Legend

One of the few non-F1 lots, a 2010 Honda CBR 1000RR SC59, built specifically for Schumacher, showcases his love for speed beyond four wheels.

Estimated at €25,000–€35,000, the bike captures Schumacher’s post-F1 passion for motorcycle racing.

Exhibition and Online Access

Before the lots go under the hammer, 35 highlight items will be showcased during the Concours of Elegance Germany at Gut Kaltenbrunn in Tegernsee on July 25–26.

The physical display adds gravitas to what is otherwise a digital-only Schumacher auction, accessible to bidders worldwide.
