Restored Elegance Meets Organic Living
Purchased in the late 1990s, Il Palagio was a dilapidated hunting lodge rediscovered by the couple. Over seven years, they restored it alongside famed landscape architect Arabella Lennox-Boyd, turning it into a vibrant estate that includes vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields.
Today, it functions as a successful biodynamic farm and winery, producing award-winning wines, organic olive oil, and honey. The estate’s self-sufficient model showcases luxe amenities derived from sustainable luxury living—farm-to-table experiences, private concerts, and yoga retreats in a setting of refined elegance.
Bespoke Accommodations with Endless Comfort
Il Palagio accommodates guests in the beautifully restored main villa and three guesthouses—Red House, Casa Colonica, and the Dacha—offering a total of 16 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.
The estate operates as a private rental venue from May to September, ideal for multi-generational stays, upscale events, and intimate weddings.
Guests enjoy luxe amenities such as housekeeping, concierge service, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, state-of-the-art recording studio access, and seasonal farm-fresh produce delivered daily. Outdoor comforts include a large swimming pool, tennis court, lake with a treehouse, and an oversized chess set.
Cultured Surroundings & Authentic Tuscan Experiences
Every corner of Il Palagio invites guests to engage with its cultural depth: stroll through terraced gardens and olive groves, dine alfresco beneath vine-covered loggias, or attend a wine tasting in the barrel-lined cellar.
Sting also curated a music studio on-site, adding artistic allure and offering an intimate blend of music and luxe amenities.
Visitors can savor estate-grown food and wine at the open-air pizzeria, shop for locally produced wine, honey, and olive oil, or participate in yoga and cooking classes—enhanced by concierge-arranged vineyard tours and nearby cultural excursions.
Privacy, Prestige & Timeless Charm
Celebrities and global travelers are drawn to Il Palagio for its discreet exclusivity and attention to detail. The estate can host up to 50 guests comfortably—or larger events of up to 400—while maintaining the intimacy of a private home.
Seasonal flowers, scenic vistas of the Apennines, and the warmth of Tuscan sunsets frame each day, offering luxe amenities that transcend standard hospitality. With personalized staff catering to every need—from chefs and gardeners to housekeepers and security—guests experience an effortlessly luxurious stay in a storied setting.
