Highlights
General Programme
Sixty‑one blue‑chip and mid‑career galleries anchor the main sector, selected by ARCO’s Organising Committee. Expect museum‑quality booths from Travesía Cuatro, Nuno Centeno, Set Espai d’Art, and Fonseca Macedo, plus SOLO presentations from artists such as Karlo Andrei Ibarra, Amélie Esterházy, and Miki Leal.
As Formas do Oceano
Curated by Paula Nascimento and Igor Simões, this section maps artistic exchanges between Africa and its diaspora across the Atlantic. Projects interrogate migration, memory, and cultural hybridity through painting, video, and installation.
Opening — Emerging Galleries
Curators Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto gather ≈ 16–18 young spaces pushing experimental formats. Names to watch include Buenos Aires–based Isla Flotante and Porto’s Bracket Gallery.
Parallel Lisbon Programming
The fair partners with local institutions for collector walk‑throughs and late openings. Two headline launches coincide with ARCOlisboa:
Museu de Arte Contemporânea Armando Martins (MACAM) – brand‑new riverside museum.
Calouste Gulbenkian’s modern wing (CAM) – reopens with expanded galleries.
ARCO Viewing Rooms
Whether you’re in Chicago or Chengdu, you can browse every booth, zoom into works, and place reserve bids via viewingrooms.arco.art throughout the fair’s four days. All sales are finalised directly with galleries.
