Marangoni Miami’s “Volare” returns this May, promising an evening full of artistic breakthroughs and future-focused ambition.

The 2025 edition of the fashion show will unfold on May 15 at 8:30 PM in Palm Court, the creative nucleus of the Miami Design District.

This year, the runway won’t just present fashion—it will mark the launch of the new IMM x Miami Design District Scholarship.

What “Volare” Really Means

The term “Volare,” meaning “to fly” in Italian, symbolizes freedom, limitless imagination, and the soaring ambitions of young designers.

For Istituto Marangoni Miami students, it represents their journey from classroom to catwalk—where sketches transform into statements.

Hakan Baykam, President of Istituto Marangoni Miami, sees the show as a metaphorical lift-off.

Empowering Talent with the IMM x MDD Scholarship

One of the most exciting aspects of Marangoni Miami’s “Volare” is the introduction of a full-tuition scholarship.

In partnership with the Miami Design District, IMM is offering a $162,300 scholarship to one DASH (Design and Architecture Senior High) graduate.

The initiative aims to break barriers for aspiring designers from Miami by offering access to premier fashion education.

This scholarship isn’t just financial support—it’s a bridge to opportunity, mentorship, and creative freedom.

Where Music, Fashion, and Culture Converge

Marangoni Miami’s “Volare” is more than just a runway event—it’s a cultural celebration. This year, the Miami Symphony Orchestra will perform live, infusing the evening with an electric atmosphere.

This live soundtrack will elevate every look, creating an immersive experience for attendees across the fashion and creative industries.

The audience will include designers, artists, tastemakers, and students—all gathering to witness the evolution of talent.

From Sketches to the Spotlight

Fashion design students will present their final collections, offering a rare glimpse into Miami’s next design stars.

Dean of Fashion, Mario Braghieri, praised the dedication behind every piece.

“These collections reflect hard work, identity, and a hunger to innovate,” he shared.

Working closely with each student, Braghieri has guided them through concept to execution, building a show rich with diversity and vision.
