A Design Story in Every Curve

The Batur Convertible Engineering Car, currently showcased in Dubai, is a masterpiece in color, texture, and detail.

Its Midnight Emerald exterior pairs flawlessly with High Gloss Carbon Fibre accents, and the bold Satin Dark Titanium grille creates a dynamic visual signature.

A unique fade from Gloss Mandarin to Gloss Beluga in the grille matrix adds a touch of daring sophistication.

The signature Batur Racing Stripe is striking, finished in Gloss Porpoise and flanked by Gloss Mandarin outlines that mirror the cabin’s leather.

This deliberate visual harmony links interior and exterior in a way only Mulliner can achieve.

Inside, the story continues with a cabin dressed in Cumbrian Green and Porpoise leather.

Mandarin accents, including stitching and piping, provide vibrant contrast.

Coachbuilding for the 21st Century

Bentley’s tradition of open-cockpit vehicles dates back to 1919.

The Batur Convertible respects that legacy while ushering in a new era. Its architecture draws inspiration from both the Bacalar and Batur, while introducing convertible functionality.

The result is a two-seat layout with a dramatic ‘wraparound’ cockpit that envelopes the driver and passenger in an immersive luxury experience.

Each Batur Convertible is co-created between the owner and the Mulliner Bespoke Studio. This process goes far beyond a standard spec sheet.

With Bentley’s proprietary commissioning software and an ‘off-menu’ approach, nearly every component can be customized.

Personalisation Without Limits

Paint options are virtually endless, ranging from Mulliner’s full palette to fully bespoke hues and even hand-painted finishes.

Exterior brightware can be configured in gloss, satin, dark tones, or titanium. The grille itself can feature an ombré fade.

For the interior, innovation meets tradition in a very literal way. Select clients can opt for 3D-printed rose gold accents on key components such as the Drive Mode Selector, vent controls, and even the steering wheel.

These touches are crafted in partnership with artisans from Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.

The Final Chapter of a Legendary Engine

The Batur Convertible houses the most advanced version of Bentley’s revered W12 engine.

This powertrain has evolved significantly since its debut, now producing nearly 40% more horsepower with a 25% improvement in fuel economy.

The revised intake system, enhanced turbochargers, upgraded intercoolers, and recalibrated software give the Batur Convertible its edge—delivering 750 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque.

Bentley will end production of the W12 engine this summer, making the Batur Convertible one of its final and most powerful expressions.

It is a fitting tribute to an engine that has powered the brand’s modern era, ensuring that this convertible will become an icon in the annals of automotive history.
