Venice, long a muse for the likes of Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Mann, and Henry James, has been immortalized for its opulence, mystique, and timeless allure.

Each of these writers left behind a legacy that connects deeply with the floating city’s evocative spirit.

Hemingway, through his vivid prose in Across the River and Into the Trees, painted Venice with a melancholic elegance. Mann’s Death in Venice explored beauty and obsession against the city’s haunting backdrop.

Today, the city becomes the real-life stage for another story—one of romance, wealth, and spectacle—crafted by one of modern society’s most recognizable names: Jeff Bezos.

His upcoming wedding to former TV host Lauren Sánchez is no exception.

The ceremony will unfold over three days—June 24 to 26—in Venice, where the couple has secured five of the city’s most prestigious hotels exclusively for their guests.

Expected to host around 250 elite attendees each night, the guest list reportedly includes a constellation of celebrities and influential figures.
