At this year’s Milan Design Week, the Maison Louis Vuitton didn’t just present furniture and decor.

The Louis Vuitton Home Collections Milan Design Week experience is not merely an exhibition but an immersion into a world where travel, design, and emotion converge.

Rooted in a legacy of innovation that began with their groundbreaking travel trunks, Louis Vuitton has always had a knack for blending aesthetics with practicality.

Now, with the evolution of their Home Collections, the House transforms living spaces into curated sanctuaries filled with personal meaning and timeless beauty.

Objets Nomades: Nomadic Spirit in Form and Function

First introduced in 2012, the Objets Nomades collection continues to push creative boundaries, serving as the spiritual backbone of Louis Vuitton’s home offerings.

At Milan Design Week 2025, the newest pieces turned heads. The Kaleidoscope cabinet by Estúdio Campana, featured in a stunning blue one-off version, exemplifies the collection’s artistic bravado.

New entries in the “Cocoon Couture” series—the Boitata and Uirapuru—captured the imagination, blending surreal silhouettes with storytelling craftsmanship.

Also debuting: the leather Totem Vinyle, a sculptural sound station ideal for intimate musical moments, showcasing Louis Vuitton’s talent for merging lifestyle and luxury.

Signature Collection: Timeless Design, Bold Expression

Debuting alongside Objets Nomades was the eagerly awaited Louis Vuitton Signature Collection, offering an impressive range of lighting and furniture.

With modular sofas, elegant chairs, tables, and sideboards, the pieces explore the essence of comfort, utility, and aesthetic innovation.

Designer Patrick Jouin introduced an armchair sheathed in zippered leather, complete with a signature golden padlock—a poetic nod to Louis Vuitton’s travel heritage.

Argentinian designer Cristián Mohaded contributed pieces inspired by essential archetypes and his homeland’s natural beauty, integrating Louis Vuitton codes with a soulful, earthy aesthetic.

Decor and Textiles: Artistry in Every Thread

In the home décor section, Louis Vuitton introduced a series of objects and textiles characterized by vivid color palettes, luxurious materials, and intricate detailing.

Patricia Urquiola’s catch-all trays and vases carried over her signature aesthetic, while Jaime Hayon brought his signature joy and eclecticism to a set of ceramic and leather pieces that danced between sculpture and practicality.

The textile division expanded with wool and cashmere throws and cushions inspired by the visual language of Fortunato Depero and Charlotte Perriand.

Mohaded’s contributions included vibrant plaids influenced by Argentina’s clay mountains and southern glaciers, drawing from both nature and graphic identity.

A Tribute to Creative Legends

At the heart of the Louis Vuitton Home Collections Milan Design Week showcase was a heartfelt homage to Fortunato Depero and Charlotte Perriand.

Through playful textiles and graphic tableware, their creative spirits were revived, reminding us how legacy and innovation can co-exist in harmony.

Depero’s Futurist boldness and Perriand’s minimalist poetics gave emotional depth to the collections, reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s commitment to culture as much as design.
