With newly developed movements, high watchmaking complications, artisanal finishes, and captivating openwork dials featuring motifs created exclusively for this milestone, Vacheron Constantin once again demonstrates its mastery of tradition and innovation at Watches & Wonders 2025.

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Openface 270th Anniversary Editions

To mark an incredible 270 years of continuous heritage, the Geneva-based Maison has released three limited-edition Traditionnelle timepieces that pay tribute to its horological legacy through two distinctive features: open-worked dials and retrograde displays. All three models are presented in 41mm platinum 950 cases and paired with rich navy-blue alligator leather straps.

The first unveiling is the Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Openface, which showcases a newly developed automatic manufacture movement. This new calibre, the 2460 QPR31/270, boasts a remarkably slim profile at only 5.45mm thick and supports a perpetual calendar, a moonphase complication, and a retrograde date indicator.

Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar

Among the highlights is a sophisticated platinum model, produced in an exclusive run of just 127 pieces. The Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar is particularly appealing to collectors, not only for its classic aesthetic codes but also for the technical brilliance of its mechanics.

Inside the 42mm platinum case beats the new calibre 2162 QP/270, a thin yet complex movement measuring just 6.55mm in height. This refined construction allows the watch to maintain the slim, elegant profile that defines the Traditionnelle collection.

Les Cabinotiers: Tribute to the Tour de l’Île

Three remarkable 40mm timepieces from the Les Cabinotiers collection pay homage to the Tour de l’Île, a symbolic monument of Geneva’s heritage and the birthplace of Vacheron Constantin.

Two of the models, cased in platinum, feature meticulously crafted miniature paintings using Grand Feu enamel techniques — one with soft pastel tones and the other combining guilloché with rich enamel detailing. The third version, housed in pink gold, features an engraved gold dial that echoes the case’s tone and texture.

Traditionnelle and Patrimony: Eight Exclusive Anniversary Editions

In continuation of the anniversary celebration, eight new limited-edition pieces expand the Maison’s portfolio — four from the Traditionnelle line and four from the Patrimony family. Each piece is distinguished by a special open-worked dial adorned with a 270th-anniversary emblem, inspired by the Maltese Cross, Vacheron Constantin’s iconic symbol. Offered in either 18K pink gold or platinum, these commemorative watches come in a variety of configurations.

One particularly dazzling Traditionnelle model in rose gold features a diamond-set bezel, a moonphase complication, and a mechanical movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Meanwhile, a standout Patrimony edition captivates with its vibrant green strap, retrograde date display, and moonphase complication, all powered by a hand-wound movement that — like the rest of Vacheron Constantin’s latest releases — showcases intricate Côtes de Genève finishing and an engraved anniversary motif.
