Mirra Andreeva earnings in 2025 have reached $1,098,920, contributing to an overall career prize money of $3,799,867. Additionally, she has secured a sponsorship deal with Rolex, further solidifying her status as one of the sport’s brightest prospects.

Russian tennis sensation Mirra Andreeva made history by becoming the youngest champion of a WTA 1000 event, the highest-tier competition on the women’s professional circuit outside the Grand Slams. At just 17 years old, she triumphed in Dubai, defeating Denmark’s Clara Tauson in the final with a commanding 7-6(1), 6-1 victory.

Her path to the title was nothing short of extraordinary, as she overcame major champions such as Czech player Marketa Vondrousova, Poland’s Iga Swiatek, and Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina.

From Cannes to the Top 10

This remarkable achievement is yet another signal that a new star has emerged in women’s tennis. Andreeva had already hinted at her immense potential, but her performance in Dubai confirmed it. With this victory, she has also broken into the world’s top 10, climbing from No. 14 to No. 9 in the rankings. “This was my goal for the season, and I’ve already achieved it in February. Now, I’ll aim for a top-five finish, which I believe is possible,” said the younger of the Andreeva sisters.

A week after her breakthrough victory in Dubai, the tennis world is still buzzing about Mirra Andreeva’s extraordinary talent. Making her debut in the WTA top 10 at just 17, she continues to live up to the expectations of those who saw her as a future powerhouse of the sport.

Could she be a future world No. 1? Some experts believe the debate is already settled. Former Grand Slam champion Andy Roddick analyzed her game on his popular podcast, highlighting the unique qualities that set her apart from her competition. His words only reinforced the notion that Mirra Andreeva is no longer just a promising young talent—she is already a force to be reckoned with.

Born in Krasnoyarsk, Andreeva first picked up a racket at the age of six. After a brief stint in Sochi, she eventually settled in Cannes, France, where she currently resides and trains with her sister Erika, also a professional tennis player. Under the guidance of coaches Jean-René Lisnard and Jean-Christophe Faurel, she has rapidly developed into one of the sport’s top contenders.

Teen tennis star

Her meteoric rise began in the junior ranks, where she claimed the world No. 1 ranking in May 2023. That achievement followed an impressive run in Madrid, where she reached the fourth round with victories over US Open 2021 finalist Leylah Fernandez, Brazilian star Beatriz Haddad Maia (then world No. 14), and Poland’s Magda Linette (ranked No. 19 at the time).

Andreeva’s transition to the professional circuit was nothing short of spectacular. In 2023, she reached the fourth round of the Australian Open, stunning world No. 6 Ons Jabeur in the second round.

She also made a deep run at Roland Garros, reaching the semifinals after a stunning upset over then-world No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka. Later that year, she secured her first WTA title at the 250 event in Iasi, Romania, and won an Olympic silver medal in women’s doubles at Paris 2024 alongside Diana Shnaider.

The management of Andreeva’s promising career is in the hands of Juan Acuña, under the multinational agency IMG. Based in Cannes, she has secured endorsement deals with Nike and Wilson, further establishing her as one of the most marketable young players in tennis.
