2025 marks the first time Louis Vuitton takes part in the prestigious LVMH Watch Week, an exclusive event where journalists and watch retailers gather to discover the latest timepieces from Louis Vuitton Tambour.
For the LVMH Watch Week, the fashion house Louis Vuitton unveils two new versions of the Louis Vuitton Tambour.
Louis Vuitton introduces the Tambour Convergence collection, a line inspired by vintage watch designs but featuring the ultra-modern and sophisticated MA01.01 movement.
This cutting-edge mechanism was developed in Switzerland by La Fabrique du Temps.
The collection offers two stunning variations: one in 18K rose gold with a polished case and lugs, paired with a beige calfskin straps.
Another in platinum, adorned with an impressive 795 diamonds and complemented by a deep blue leather strap.
Each of these windows is covered with sapphire crystal, enhancing both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Despite its refined and art deco-inspired construction, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence carries remarkable strength.
The second major release is the Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin Time, which incorporates the brand’s signature Spin Time movement, first introduced in 2009.
Every 60 minutes, two cubes rotate instantaneously—one marking the end of the previous hour while the new hour emerges, revealing a previously concealed face.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin Time is available in 39.5mm and 42.5mm white gold cases, taking its name from the taiko, a traditional Japanese ceremonial drum.
Aesthetically, it is already a statement piece, but what truly sets it apart is its groundbreaking travel-time complication.
Capable of tracking time across all 24 global time zones simultaneously, with clear day and night indicators.
Both models house the LFT ST13.01 movement, offering a 45-hour power reserve, 28,000 vibrations per hour, and 35 jewels ensuring optimal energy efficiency.
