The Gauntlet Polo 2025 will once again take place at the National Polo Center on February 7. It will feature three major tournaments: the C.V. Whitney Cup, the USPA Gold Cup, and the US Open.

So far, Pilot is the only one team that has managed to achieve the extraordinary feat of winning all three titles in the same year.

This year, Pilot is set to return alongside ten other teams, including Coca-Cola, Park Place, Tamera, La Fe, Clearwater, and Dutta Corp.

The tournament will also welcome two teams making a comeback to high-goal polo—Catamount, led by Scott Devon, and BTA, headed by patron Kelly Beal, featuring Tomás Panelo, who will make his debut with a 10-goal handicap.

Additionally, two new contenders, Brookshire and Global Port, will join the fray. However, one major absence will be felt—La Dolfina, the reigning 2024 US Open champion, will not participate in the 2025 edition.

Interestingly, Adolfo Cambiaso and his son, Poroto, will compete separately this year, representing Tamera and Catamount, respectively.

Key Players and High-Stakes Matches

The Gauntlet Polo 2025 will kick off on February 7 with the C.V. Whitney Cup and conclude on April 20 with the grand final of the US Open.

With eleven international teams in the mix, this year’s edition promises thrilling clashes and intense competition.

Among the standout teams, Valiente is in pursuit of its seventh title, while Pilot, led by Facundo Pieres, aims to reclaim the championship it last won in 2019.

Furthermore, the presence of all 10-goal USPA players guarantees a top-tier spectacle.

Some of the biggest names in the sport will take the field, including Argentine stars Adolfo and Poroto Cambiaso, Hilario Ulloa, Tomás Panelo, and the Castagnola brothers.

As The Gauntlet Polo 2025 unfolds, the world’s best players will battle for supremacy, making this edition one of the most highly anticipated in recent years.
