Hublot expands its signature Spirit of Big Bang line with three striking ceramic hues, previously reserved for the Big Bang series, to commemorate 12 years of this groundbreaking collection.

The Spirit of Big Bang debuted in 2014, defying expectations, and surprising watch enthusiasts with a case shape unlike anything Hublot had previously crafted. 

 

Departing from the brand’s traditionally round cases, this model retained the unmistakable essence of Hublot. 

 

The barrel-shaped design continues to serve as a visionary window into the evolution of contemporary watchmaking.

For the first time within this collection, Hublot introduces cases and bezels in colored ceramics that were once exclusive to the circular Big Bang range. 

 

The new shades—Sand Beige, Dark Green, and Sky Blue—are each produced in a limited run of just 200 pieces.

An innovative design

These timepieces, designed to be lightweight, hypoallergenic, scratch-resistant, and universally appealing, underscore Hublot’s unparalleled expertise in pioneering innovative materials and developing ceramics in unprecedented colors.

 

Showcased through openwork dials, the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph models are powered by the Hublot HUB4700 automatic skeleton chronograph movement. 

 

As a modern evolution of the legendary El Primero—the first Swiss high-frequency integrated chronograph calibre—this movement is visible from both the front and through the sapphire case back. 

 

It incorporates several technical advancements over its 1969 predecessor, including a cutting-edge silicon escape wheel that minimizes friction.

Every detail of this new Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph trio is meticulously coordinated. 

 

The hour markers, hands, and chronograph subdials echo the case colors, while the straps, crafted from black rubber with a colored central inlay, further enhance the seamless aesthetic.

 

Limited to 200 pieces each, the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph in Sand Beige, Dark Green, and Sky Blue ceramic is available exclusively at Hublot boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide.
