Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, just 23 years old, won the Australian Open for the second year in a row, confirming the No. 1 ranking he has held since becoming the world’s top-ranked player last June.
After the match, Sinner strapped on a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, one of the most iconic models from the Swiss brand for which he is an ambassador.
It took him three sets (6/3 7/6 6/3) to defeat the 27-year-old German Alexander Zverev, the number 2 in the ATP rankings. With this championship, Sinner wins 3 Grand Slam titles in just two years: the Australian Open (2) and the US Open (1).
He also has 16 other ATP titles since he turned professional in 2018. Most of them achieved in 2024 (8).
