Louis Vuitton made an impression in Paris with its men’s collection for the Fall-Winter 2025-2026 season. The collection is a look into the future through Louis Vuitton’s history. The result is streetwear that combines the workwear style of NIGO and the fashion sense of Pharrell Williams.

The fashion show featured modern streetwear with details from the history of Louis Vuitton and Japanese culture. It was accompanied by a performance of “One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy VII)” by Nobuo Uematsu, performed by L’Orchestre du Pont Neuf.

The orchestra also featured three original tracks produced by Pharrell Williams: “Bad Influence” by SEVENTEEN, “Timeless” by The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, and “LV Bag”, a collaboration between Don Toliver and j-hope.

A new Louis Vuitton streetwear

On the circular stage of the Cour Carrée du Louvre, models showcased silhouettes that represented a Dandy Streetwear: a combination of suits, workwear and sportswear “cross-pollinated in form and fabrication,” according to Louis Vuitton press release.

Some of the highlights included a sculpted bomber jacket with a big yellow flower on it and jackets made from Maison leathers with badges. The pieces had that rockabilly and mod vibe that’s a trademark of Pharrell Williams, Men’s Creative Director of LV, and NIGO.

NIGO’s influence is clear in the Japanese designs and techniques used to reimagine Louis Vuitton’s iconic style.

One example is the Dandy Monogram, which mixes the Maison’s floral emblem with shippo weaving to make a pattern of encircled diamonds. This is used in jacquards, as a sashiko stitch on denim, and as scattered crystal embroidery.

There’s also a ripple-effect tailoring jacquard that evokes the boro repair technique, and the kasuri weave is used in tailoring jacquard and silk wool outerwear. Other examples include Cherry Blossom Damoflage and Cherry Blossom Paris/frames with Fuji motifs.

Japanese motifs

The same goes for bags that showcase designs celebrating the creative union between Pharrell Williams and NIGO. Damier Phriendship bags are adorned with brown Dandy Damier plaid canvas, inspired by tea ceremony motifs.

Damier Scribbles bags feature the House’s iconic white-on-white checks overwritten in NIGO’s hand-printed black ink with the words “Louis Vuitton” and “LVERS” in French and Japanese. The print appears on a Shopper tote bag and a Speedy.

Kinsugi ceramic, sakura pink crocodile and red lacquer details appear on the Speedy P9 bags.

When it comes to Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks, Pharrell Williams commissioned Japanese artist Azuma Makoto to reinterpret the Courrier Lozine 110 trunk. The collection featured two sake and matcha tea ceremony trunks as evidence of the fusion of French and Japanese craftsmanship.
