Men’s Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025 kicks off this January 14, 2025, with Pitti Uomo in Florence. The event will then move to Milan and culminate in Paris, offering a glimpse into the direction of the year ahead. Here’s everything you need to know about the month-long celebration of menswear.

The announcements made in the latter half of 2024 have left the runway brimming with anticipation, as the impact of these appointments and departures is yet to be fully realized.

Louise Trotter, previously of Carven, is set to take Blazy’s place at Bottega Veneta. Meanwhile, Sarah Burton has stepped into the role of creative director at Givenchy, Haider Ackermann has been appointed to helm Tom Ford, and Kim Jones has exited his position as artistic director of Fendi’s womenswear and couture collections, though his successor has yet to be named.

Additionally, Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, and Celine have welcomed new creative leads—Peter Copping, Julian Klausner, and Michael Rider, respectively—fueling further speculation about ongoing shifts in the industry’s creative leadership.

While this uncertainty lingers, it also brings excitement, setting the stage for a transformative year ahead.

Pitti Uomo (January 14–16, 2025)

This year, Pitti Uomo begins a week later than usual, allowing designers more time to recover from the holiday season. The 107th edition of the iconic Florentine menswear fair will take over the historic Fortezza da Basso, featuring an exhibition of over 700 brands.

Themed around “Fire,” symbolizing the elemental force of creation, the event will blend tradition and innovation across five main sections: Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling, and I Go Out.

Milan Fashion Week Men’s (January 17–21, 2025)

Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week this season feels noticeably lighter, without brands like JW Anderson, Gucci, and Fendi. JW Anderson, which began showing in Milan in 2022, has opted out, while Gucci, under Sabato De Sarno, will now present co-ed collections during the women’s schedule.

Meanwhile, Fendi is holding off its centennial celebration for a larger February event. Despite these absences, Milan will still host some of the most anticipated shows of the season, including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, and Zegna. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons are expected to define the season’s tone with their collaborative vision.

Paris Fashion Week Men’s (January 21–26, 2025)

Paris will close Men’s Fashion Week with the most packed schedule, starting with Pharrell Williams’ highly anticipated show for Louis Vuitton on January 21.

This will undoubtedly be a star-studded event. Kim Jones will also debut his latest collection for Dior Men, marking his shift to focus exclusively on menswear after leaving Fendi’s womenswear division. Other highlights include Rick Owens at the Palais de Tokyo, the debut of Issey Miyake’s IM Men collection, and Comme des Garçons Homme Plus.

Newcomers like Willy Chavarria, who has moved his show from New York to Paris, and Jacquemus, presenting a dedicated menswear line, will bring fresh energy. The week will conclude with Peter Copping’s debut at Lanvin, where he will unveil both men’s and women’s collections.

With so much change and innovation, Men’s Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025 promises to be a defining moment for the future of fashion. Stay tuned for all the highlights.
