What is Miami Art Deco Weekend

This event began in 1976 as a small initiative to raise awareness about the preservation of Miami Beach’s Art Deco District. Over time, it has evolved into a global event that attracts architecture aficionados, cultural enthusiasts, and families alike.

With over 800 Art Deco structures lining the streets of Miami Beach, the festival serves as a vibrant reminder of the movement’s bold geometric shapes, vibrant hues, and intricate details. Whether it’s through the expert-led tours of iconic landmarks like the Colony Hotel and the Breakwater Hotel, or the lively swing dances and jazz performances that bring the 1920s to life, the festival ensures an unforgettable journey through time.
