The Opening event of Miami Art Week 2024, held at the iconic Buick Building in the heart of the Miami Design District, brought together leading figures in art and design, international tastemakers, and distinguished guests to join Craig Robins, CEO of Dacra, in celebrating the start of this major art week.

The Craig Robins Collection, featuring over 1,500 works of contemporary art and innovative design, is housed at the Dacra headquarters in the Miami Design District.

The 2024-2025 edition of the collection, titled The Sleep of Reason, takes inspiration from The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters, the iconic work by Francisco de Goya from his major print series Los Caprichos.

This central piece sets the stage for a notable showcase of works by Kai Althoff (German, born 1966) and Jana Euler (German, born 1982), two artists whose drawings, paintings, and sculptures delve into themes of abjection and emotionally charged landscapes. In total, over 300 works are on display at Dacra, offering a comprehensive look at figurative art from the last three decades, alongside conceptual masterpieces and designs by legendary creators such as Jean Prouvé, Zaha Hadid, Ron Arad, Marc Newson, Maarten Baas, and Samuel Ross.
