HistoryMiami Museum
An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, HistoryMiami is located in downtown Miami and celebrates the Magic City through exhibitions, city tours, programs, and more. Now in its 83rd year, the museum’s mission is to share and preserve Miami’s stories to promote learning, foster a sense of place, and nurture an engaged community. Spanning 70,000 square feet (6,500 square meters), the museum houses over 2 million photographs and 30,000 artifacts, including a 1920s trolley and a refugee raft that made its way to Miami.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Situated along Biscayne Bay in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a distinctive subtropical estate and a National Historic Landmark. It preserves the home of agricultural industrialist James Deering and aims to engage both the community and visitors through art, history, and environmental learning.
Recognized internationally for its cultural and historical significance, exemplary conservation efforts, and dynamic visitor experience, Vizcaya was transferred from the Deering family to Miami-Dade County in 1952, quickly becoming a cultural institution in South Florida. For over a century, Vizcaya has served as a gathering place for education, social events, and inspiration. Its ongoing evolution solidifies its role as a cultural cornerstone of Miami.

Jewish Museum of Florida – FIU
The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU stands out as the only institution dedicated to collecting, documenting, preserving, and interpreting Florida’s Jewish history.
